When I was eight years old I left my home and haven't still come back ​

​It is a quote from one of the eldery Saami people who is interwiewed about his time at  ”Nomadskolan”, a Saami boarding schoolsystem  in  Sweden.

Blind has been a co-editor to the anthology  with  the title ”When I was eight years old I left my home and haven't still come back”. Ms Kaisa Huuva is the main editor.
   
It is the  Church of Sweden   who took the initiative to this book who was published   at the Jokkmokks market  in February 2016.
The anthology consist of   different articles with researchers and interwiews with Saami  people who have lived in Nomadskolan.   It was a  segregated  school for the children of the reindeers Saami that was abolished in the 1960.
